Peloponnese/Arkadia - Leonidio: below the foothills of Mount Parnon, in Leonidio, guesthouse "Agroktima"
Deep in a fertile valley below the green foothills of Mount Parnon rests the small city of Leonidion, the capital of "Tsakonia". This lovely town is cradled by the majestic red cliffs of the Arcadian Mountains to the North, and by the serene coastal waters of the Aegean Sea to the East. Within this bountiful "garden", we have created our small community using faithful examples of the local Tsakoniki architecture.
Agroktima is a series of ten, independent stone guesthouses that can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Each 45m2 unit includes a kitchenette with oak cabinets, fully equipped with dishes and cookware, air conditioning, a cast-iron fireplace (free wood for the fireplace is provided) decorated with wood and stone accents, plasma television sets, traditional light fixtures, wooden rafters and hand-carved furniture, free wifi internet, olive based cosmetics. There is also a childrens play area and parking.
The owners are "welcoming" each visitor by offering a tray with traditional delicacies for breakfast. For dinner there is a wide variety of traditional take away restaurants. The aim of the guesthouse is to make you relax and enjoy the nature away from the city life.
