Position:  Bartender/Waiting Staff
Location: Drayton, Clanfield and Southsea
Job type: Part Time

The Role:

Kassia is a new chic and stylish cocktail bar located in Drayton, Hampshire on the outskirts of Portsmouth. 

The position we are advertising is for a Bartender to be an expert in making cocktails and work under pressure during busy nights. Successful candidates must be available most weekends and experience will be an advantage.

Duties will include supervising the bar and ensuring that it runs efficiently, welcoming customers to the venue via the bar, assisting with stock management, cleaning glasses, bar cleaning duties as well as ensuring a smooth running of a shift.

Rate of pay will be discussed upon being successful. Over 18s only, own transport preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in making Kassia cocktails

  • Uphold all cleanliness standards

  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

  • Supporting the manager in achieving weekly targets through drinks sales

  • Assisting with stock management

  • Ensuring the bar is fully opened and closed down during a shift

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year hospitality experience

  • Understanding and awareness of alcohol license regulations and ideally a personal alcohol license

  • Customer service and interaction

  • Ambitious and energetic

  • Own transport


Position:  Marketing Coordinator
Location: Cowplain
Job type: Part Time (3-6 hours)

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced, aspiring individual with creative ideas and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and publish all social media and email marketing with professionalism, accuracy and creativeness.

  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns; prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives

  • Research competitors by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.

  • Plan events by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.

  • Monitor marketing budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.

  • Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.

Future activities:

- Track product line sales and costs by analysing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.

- Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data.

- Support Restaurant Managers, Operations Manager and Director by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.

Position:  Kitchen Porter

The Role:

The position we are advertising is for a kitchen porter to work under pressure during busy nights. Successful candidates must be available most weekends.

Duties will include washing crockery, pans and utensils, supporting the chef with basic kitchen tasks.

Rate of pay will be discussed upon being successful.

  • Working to a fast pace whilst ensuring that equipment is clean to a high standard
