From our Founder…
Indian cuisine is a large part of British culture and a great way of bringing people together. Since opening my first restaurant in 2004, my ambition has been to bring the great taste of Bengal to the community. It was during my time working as head chef in a takeaway in Cowplain that I noticed a trend with all the regular customers - they would always have the same dishes.
My idea to open Kassia was created. I wanted to bring in more authentic dishes, but find a way for our customers to try different flavours. Our tapas menu is designed to make it easy for you to try new and different Indian cuisine in smaller portions for smaller prices. We’ve recently added many more vegetarian, gluten free and vegan dishes. Feel free to explore and experiment as you make your choices and discover what true Indian food can taste like.
