How to get there: Sifnos is connected to Piraeus (Athens central Port) by boat. You can either take the regular ferry that takes five and a half hours or a high speed ferry that takes 3 hours to reach Kamares, the island's port. There are also ferry or high speed ferry connections with the islands of Serifos, Milos, Paros, Kimolos, Santorini (airport) and Folegandros, all reachable within 1- 2 hours.
