What’s the dress code?

Here at Kassia, dress code is pretty (smart) casual.

We politely request no sportswear, vests or football colours. Trainers should stay at home as should flip flops.

Exact dress code can vary from venue to venue, and often depends on time of day and day of the week. For example, a few of our restaurants allow fancy dress (although it must be inoffensive) at the discretion of door staff/management.

If in doubt, please contact your venue with details of your dream outfit beforehand – our general managers will be happy to advise. We think that a good night out is about feeling great and looking glam, so dress to impress but in a way that makes you comfortable.

Does Kassia have an ID policy?

Kassia operates the Challenge 25 policy. If we perceive you to look younger than 25 then please be prepared to prove your age with valid and current identification. This can be either a UK driving licence, passport, or PASS identification card bearing the PASS hologram.

At every venue, Kassia Management reserves the right to refuse admission – and our door policies also apply to private bookings and parties.

Is there an entry fee?

For the most part, Kassia offers free entry, however, this can vary on certain days – Friday and Saturday nights for example – when some venues may charge a small cover fee for late entry.

We also run ticketed events, which are sometimes free – however, this will depend on the night, the venue and the event itself.

Safety

The safety and security of our staff and customers is paramount. We support the responsible consumption of alcohol and reserve the right to refuse service to customers who are, or appear to be, intoxicated. Tap water is freely available in all our bars upon request.

A random search policy of all customers may be implemented depending on prevailing conditions, risk assessment or police advice. Kassia operates a zero tolerance policy on drugs. Customers suspected of dealing or using drugs will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Customers are advised that Kassia works continually with local authorities to ensure our venues are fully compliant on all aspects of health and safety and crime and disorder. CCTV is in operation in all Kassia venues.

Social Media Competitions

Entrants must be 18 years of age or over for any competition run on the Kassia social media channels.

Winners must satisfy the conditions outlined in the competition post, and enter via the mechanics detailed, within the stipulated time frame

Competitions and prizes may not be available at every bar, or may change dependent on bar location. Please check the social media competition post for details.

Prizes cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Kassia reserves the right to refuse service or change the prize at any time, and reminds all customers to please drink responsibly.

Free Pink Gin

You must have liked and shared our post on Facebook or liked on Instagram to be entered into the competition.

You have to be the last person to comment ‘Kassia’ before we comment gin to win.

Must be eating on a Saturday 6th July to win your free gin.

Gin can be taken off site with lid on.

Tonic must be purchased and is not part of the offer.

Student Thursdays

50% off food only. Not in conjunction with any other offer. Please speak to a member of staff for more information.

Offer can be redeemed by students only and will not apply to non-students.

Reservations

Tables are available for two hours, after which they will be re-booked. Please inform us at the point of booking if you would like to stay at your table for longer than two hours and, if we have space available, we will do our best to accommodate you.

We respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation to ensure the best possible level of service to all of our guests. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone at your earliest convenience.

Should you wish to have a drink prior to being seated, please arrive earlier or change your reservation to a later time. You may continue your experience in the bar for drinks after your meal.

Cancellation Policy

A credit or debit card will be required to guarantee bookings of 8 or more people. We require at least four hours’ notice for every cancellation. For bookings cancelled with less than four hours’ notice, we will charge £5.00 per person if we are unable to resell the table.

We are sorry that cancellation charges have become necessary but regrettably our experience dictates this precaution.

Table Allocation

Due to the large number of requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee window tables or booths when taking reservations, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Your understanding is appreciated.

As a guide, if you choose to dine early and leave your table by 20:15 or later, there is a higher chance we are able to offer you a window table/a specific area of the restaurant. However, we cannot always guarantee this availability due to other bookings and table configurations.

Food Safety and Allergens

We respectfully ask that food that has not been prepared in our kitchens is not consumed on our premises, including birthday cakes. The reasons we have implemented this policy are that we are (i) are often unable to find a place to store the cake in a fridge, which is often required for food safety purposes, (ii) the service of food not on the menu can impact our quality of service to the customer who brought the cake and customers on other tables, especially if we were not warned in advance, (iii) in the event of an alleged food poisoning or serious allergic reaction of one of our guests, we would be unable to trace the source in accordance with our Food Safety procedures.

We cater for most dietary requirements and have strict policies in place for customers with food allergies. We are happy to respond to any specific requests for further information regarding allergens in our kitchens prior to your visit. All of our managers, wait staff, chefs and kitchen staff are fully trained on our allergen policy and any questions can be answered prior to orders being taken.

Gift Cards

Gift cards may not be exchanged for cash.

The card is not a cheque guarantee, credit, debit or charge card.

No change will be given but the balance can be used for future purchases.

We will not be held liable for lost or stolen cards - protect this as you would cash.

A gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Kassia gift cards (whether plastic, email or text message) are valid at any Kassia. It may be necessary for the venue to check a gift card validity with another venue if issued elsewhere.

Gift cards can be purchased with a minimum value of £5, up to a maximum of £250.

Email gifts are valid either presented on a smart phone or printed out.
